About the event
Jennifer Sarah () is Director of Supply Chain Management at Nissan over Finished Vehicle Logistics and SCM Systems and Strategy. In this role, she is responsible for the delivery of all Nissan and Infiniti vehicles to dealerships by rail and truck from the manufacturing plants and ports. She also manages supply chain data analytics in North America. Her multi-site team sits in Smyrna, TN, Franklin, TN, Canton, MS, and Aguascalientes, Mexico.JSBolton
JS is passionate about American manufacturing. She first came to Nissan and Nashville in 2013 as a graduate school research fellow in the MIT Leaders for Global Operations program. Her master’s thesis on Nissan’s supply chain brought her back to Nissan fulltime in roles of increasing responsibility. Immediately prior to her current role, JS was Director of Body and Stamping Manufacturing, responsible for hundreds of technicians on the plant floor. She has also worked in Trim & Chassis, Maintenance, and Last Mile Logistics at Nissan.
Before graduate school, JS worked at a start-up truck aerodynamics equipment company, ATDynamics, in San Francisco and in transportation and logistics investment banking at Morgan Stanley in New York and Hong Kong.
Outside of her professional life, JS is active and engaged in Nashville, serving as this year’s Vice President, Community for the Junior League of Nashville. As VP Community, she helps lead over 200 volunteers at partner agencies in the region and oversees the awarding of significant financial grants to these partners. JS is also on the board of The Nations Neighborhood Association, where she eagerly advocates for sidewalks, and on the board of Neighbor 2 Neighbor, an organization that trains neighborhood leaders.
JS holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and History from Yale University, an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Master’s in Civil Engineering focused on Transportation and Logistics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
