Wendy Whittemore, Change is in the Air

Bio: Wendy Whittemore is owner of Aerial Innovations Southeast, a professional photography company. They specialize in aerial and architectural photography with offices in Nashville and Atlanta, GA. She grew up in Pittsburgh and studied photography at the University of Dayton. After working in photo labs and at several newspapers, she started taking photos from helicopters and airplanes in Atlanta in 2000. Over the next 20 years she learned everything she could about aerial photography, starting her own company in Nashville in 2003. Wendy became licensed and started flying drones in 2015 after her clients asked her if she could do drone photography. She is one of the first female remote pilots in Middle Tennessee. In 2018, she bought the Atlanta company from the woman she used to work for and now travels between Nashville and Atlanta. She still loves to photograph when able but relies on her team of photographers, videographers and pilots to do the most difficult shoots.
