As a Tennessee State Senator, I sit on committees covering fiscal review, energy, commerce, transportation, and intergovernmental relations. I'm not a policy consultant who tracks legislation. I'm inside the process.

My signature legislative work is the Tennessee Waste to Jobs Act (TWTJ) — one of the country's most ambitious circular economy initiatives, built by reframing waste diversion as a manufacturing and economic competitiveness strategy. The coalition it produced was unusual: manufacturers, environmental organizations, local governments, and bipartisan policymakers aligned around a shared economic vision. That kind of alignment across opposing interests is what I do.

I was an invited speaker at the Norwegian Mission to the United Nations on PFAS contamination policy and delivered the keynote at Vanderbilt University's Sustainability Conference on advancing sustainability strategy in conservative political environments. PFAS litigation and regulation is moving fast — I can help organizations understand where policy is actually heading, not where the press release says it is.

Before elected office: six years as Vice Mayor and Mayor of Oak Hill, Tennessee. Before that, I founded and led a music licensing company, held executive roles in marketing and international distribution for national record labels, and consulted for a clean transportation startup. I hold an MBA from Vanderbilt University.

I'm actively seeking board director positions, strategic advisory engagements, and speaking opportunities in ESG, PFAS policy, circular economy, and sustainability leadership in complex political environments.
