About the event
Sarah Butler is the United States Program Director at Hope for Justice, a global anti-trafficking nonprofit. She oversees all survivor centered programs and policy initiatives in the US. Sarah was involved in the launch and conceptualization of two survivor care programs that were awarded Federal grant funding. Prior to this role, Sarah spent 5 years as a prosecutor in Nashville, TN where she handled all human trafficking cases for her office and staffed a court specifically for survivors of trafficking. Sarah has been involved in the development of legislation in Tennessee for survivor relief and has spent her career focused on serving survivors in various capacities. Sarah has her JD from the University of Notre Dame law school and is a proud wife and mother.
