Hanging of the Greens Concert with Amy Grant - Burkley Allen hosting

The Lipscomb University community is celebrating the 19th anniversary of its traditional start to the holiday season with beloved Nashville entertainer Amy Grant and special friends at the annual Lighting of the Green. This year’s edition is set for Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena Mall. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with the FREE concert to follow at 6 p.m.

Joining Grant this year will be special surprise musical guests along with Lipscomb’s ensemble Sanctuary and Gospel Choir and choirs from Lipscomb Academy and Lipscomb University. The event will take place outside in the Allen Arena Mall.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Lipscomb Dining Services in the concession stands in the Allen Arena Mall area and in Lipscomb’s Bennett Campus Center (Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Local Eats, Boar's Head Deli, Uncle Dave’s Deli and Wild Blue Asian Fusion) and Student Activities Center (Freshens).

We will meet at 2nd Presbyterian Church (3511 Belmont) at 4:30 and walk to Lipscomb by 4:45.  Seating is first come first served so we will grab a group of seats and take turns going to get something to eat or the Holiday Market.
