About the event

The Nashville Academy of Medicine is the oldest medical association in Tennessee, uniting physicians since 1821. Throughout their history and today, they have had a meaningful impact on the public health of Nashville, and have been medical champions for the greater middle TN community. The Medical Foundation of Nashville is currently the charitable care arm of the Academy. Its signature program, Project Access Nashville Specialty Care (PANSC), has served patients in over 40 counties in Tennessee, extending the reach of our 55 primary care clinic partners and 1,800 physician volunteers.

Rebecca Leslie: Rebecca Leslie is the CEO of the Nashville Academy of Medicine / Medical Foundation of Nashville. Leslie is a resource to more than 2,300 physicians throughout the city, and also oversees Project Access Nashville Specialty Care, which provides access to specialty health care services for uninsured residents in Middle Tennessee. Prior to this, she was Vice President of Talent Development with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce where she led the expanded effort to ensure that the workforce met the needs of the region’s growing economy. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama and her MBA from Lipscomb University.

Kelly Blankenship:
