Denise McBride

Denise McBride retired in 2021 from the Tennessee Housing Development Agency, where she served as the Middle Tennessee Liaison for Industry and Government Affairs. In this role, she covered 41 Tennessee counties, providing information on THDA program products and building relationships with various stakeholders. Before THDA, Denise worked as the state community development manager for SunTrust Bank.

She has been active in multiple non-profit boards. She is a Leadership Nashville and Ambassador League Institute graduate, a member of the Leadership Nashville Alumni Board of Directors, a director of the Nashville Foundation for Women of Color, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Denise has embraced retirement, delving into new interests like calligraphy, bridge, and ancestry exploration. In addition, she is a speaker for the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion in Nashville.
