About the event
Denise Bayles joined GiGi's Playhouse Nashville as the Executive Director in the spring of 2023. GiGi's Playhouse's mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all. For more than 17 years, Denise has been fiercely dedicated to raising much-needed funds for non-profit organizations throughout the United States. During her career, she has been responsible for raising close to $100 million for non-profit causes. Previous to GiGi's Playhouse, Denise held senior leadership positions at nonprofit organizations such as Children's Hospital Los Angeles, CureSearch for Children's Cancer, American Cancer Society, Starlight for Children's Cancer, American Lung Association, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, and Rock the Vote. Originally from Indianapolis, Denise graduated from Purdue University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
