Andrea Pitts Scars Uncovered

Andrea Pitts is the Founder and Executive Director of Scars Uncovered, a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to helping burn survivors heal and rebuild their lives. For the past ten years, Scars Uncovered has assisted thousands of survivors and their families through the recovery process, offering a wide range of support such as emotional encouragement, financial assistance, care packages, and a welcoming community to help them regain strength and confidence.

Andrea’s heart for service and commitment to empowering others has been recognized both locally and nationally. She has been featured on news outlets such as Good Morning America, Today in Nashville, WKRN News 2, WSMV4, and Fox 17 News. Recently, Andrea has been awarded Citizen of the Year, Hometown Hero and Predator’s Smashville Hometown Hero for her work in strengthening and uplifting the burn survivor community.

Through Scars Uncovered, she inspires survivors to recognize their scars as a story of survival and perseverance, assuring them that no one has to face the journey of recovery alone.
